Wednesday- Trucks on Fire!

Where to start? Wednesday was an amazing, busy, sad and wonderful day. It amazes me how that can all wrap itself up in one day.

I have two new little cats staying for a while until their Mama and Daddy can get a new place to live after they where displaced by the tornado this week. They are so funny and my big CAT doesnt know what to make of them. It is nice to hear Rhi laugh and watch them all play together.

Our PTA was able to hunt down and send backpacks and stuffed animals to be given out at a school in Moore today. With the help of two very special people who made AMAZING donations we where able to get many super cute back packs. People like this restore my faith in the human race.

One of the same Ladies made a wonderful donation of hot dogs and buns to the American Legion for the Memorial Day Dinner they do for the Veterans. Amazing and wonderful... dont know how else to describe it.

I also was reconnected with someone who I have missed so much... in a way that most people would think a strange way, in this family it is just the way our lives are. I was driving as saw smoke pouring out of a truck, I though someone was still in it so I pulled over to see if I could help. As I am going towards the truck I see another Smothers woman standing there with a fire ex. in hand and a cell phone in another calling for the fire department. I have missed Giss so much and was so happy and proud to see her. Everyone ended up being fine and the fire was contained until the fire department got there.

I was also able to see my Darla in a Drive-By sort of way. She was kind enough to let Rhi play at her house while I was driving around like a mad women.

I am so honored to know and call so many Amazing, Strong and Caring Women my friends.
